OUR WORK
Workers' Rights
Farmworkers in the Central Valley face dangerous working conditions—from extreme heat and wildfires to pandemics and Avian Flu—despite being essential to our economy and community. Valley Voices educates, advocates, and organizes alongside workers, families, and students to ensure dignity, respect, and fairness for all, building a stronger and healthier Central Valley for everyone.
Worker Rights Workshops
We educate rural communities on workplace rights—wage theft, retaliation, health and safety, workers’ comp, and more. Partnering with state agencies, we deliver workshops in people’s own languages, meeting them where they are.
Workplace Intakes & Support
We help workers address problems early by documenting issues, finding solutions, and, if needed, filing claims with agencies like Cal/OSHA, EDD, and the Labor Commissioner.
Advocacy & Policy Change
We work with coalitions statewide to strengthen protections, from pesticide reform to Cal/OSHA regulations.
Legal Referrals & Partner Clinics
We connect workers to legal aid through local clinics in rural areas. By reducing barriers like travel, language, and internet access, we make legal help more accessible.
