OUR WORK

Economic Development

Valley Voices works to ensure that local communities have a voice in shaping economic development projects. In response to the proposed Kings/Tulare High-Speed Rail station, we partnered with researchers at the University of California, Merced to conduct a representative needs assessment of Kings County residents, exploring issues such as climate, economics, and future development. We are also engaged in the East Lacey Corridor Project, which aims to redesign transportation infrastructure with a focus on safety and accessibility. Our goal is to elevate community concerns and ensure that residents’ needs and priorities are reflected in every stage of these development efforts.
